Since Tomorrow Never Comes Act On Your Dreams Today

We are just too busy running around trying to live our lives to the fullest, trying to arrange our existence for a better tomorrow, to be somewhere other than where we are right now. Where we should be instead is living in and at the moment.

Realize what learning to be mindful, to be grateful will do is grant you the freedom from the hypnosis of a culture, that’s constantly looking to make ourselves be and feel better.

What we all want is to be better off than we currently are, financially, geographically, to have better relationships.

We want to be anywhere rather than right here and right now, to avoid stagnancy, in the hopes our lives would get better than it currently is.

This escapism mentality acts like a tonic, that only gives temporary relief to our chronic problems.

Along with wanting to be elsewhere, we also dwell on the philosophy of “hope,” which allows us to manipulate time.

“I will get to it eventually, just not today” or “I’m too busy right now.…” are pure escapism excuses to remain in our comfort zone.

The problem is that both someday, somewhere, or tomorrow are undefined and an illusion.

Somewhere doesn’t exist, and someday or tomorrow never comes. All we do is keep hoping, waiting for it.

This can become extremely discouraging, and is solely responsible for plenty of disappointment and anxiety.

Live For Today

The truth is that right now, this very moment is all you’ve got. Tomorrow is a rumor that will never arrive, so you need to learn to live in the moment, to begin living your life.

Being grateful doesn’t mean you lose your drive, motivation or purpose. What it does is allows you to slow down and enjoy the ride.

It’s healthy to want more out of life, but what’s also required is to be realistic and fulfilled, as knowing where you are becomes critical.

Using someday as an excuse to ease your issues won’t create long term success. Be honest with yourself, stop making excuses just to make yourself feel better.

Experiencing a little pain can always be useful, since it will at the very least move you towards taking action.

So do something, as there’s always some type of positive action you can take. Use this precise moment to turn your ideas into reality.

Taking The Next Step

The most powerful support system you have, is being self resourceful while finding ways to give yourself access to everything you need.

This means that right now, you have everything you need to achieve whatever it is you want, and you have the ability to take action with what you’ve got, where you’re at.

You don’t have to wait for “When I am there…” or “Someday when I…” before you take action on your dreams.

Acting on the smallest idea can make all the difference, because it immediately makes your idea real, activated, and you’ve used your willpower to consciously take charge.

To Get It Going Forward

It’s important to realize a purpose and to pursue it, and not just achieve it. What’s more important is experiencing it.

You don’t travel just for the purpose of reaching a destination, but rather the sensation of getting there to that location.

Whatever dream or goal you’re following, you’ll most likely spend more time pursuing it, than actually enjoying it.

Reaching most goals are anti-climatic, once you get there anyways.

The process is where the fulfillment comes from, and what makes you become and feel something instead of just accumulating.

If you can’t be grateful and happy pursuing your goals, then the chances are you won’t be satisfied.

Living In The Present

Live in the present moment, but also know where you’re going from there.

Be right here, right now, celebrate and capture these magical moments of your life. Hold on to them to propel you into the future.

Life isn’t just living in the moment, but also created at this moment. Right now is the best time to design the next chapter of your life.

Allow your thoughts and knowledge to serve you by taking action, as taking action is what determines your destiny.

Move confidently towards the direction of your choosing, while not getting seduced by the belief that someday things will get better, that someday your luck will change.

You’re the source and the creator of your own destiny, prosperity, and it all begins with a sense of gratitude for everything you already have, exactly where you are right now, right here.

One great privilege you have is you can begin immediately with what you have, to create anything you want, as every resource you need is already within you.

Move Towards Today

Living in a place called “somewhere” doesn’t serve you, although it might feel good in the short term, as an escape or an excuse.

Having to constantly lie to yourself you’ll act on what you want, just creates unnecessary burden.

Once you turn your someday philosophy into a today movement, you can then start adopting the mindset where you take action on your ideas, exactly with the resources you have.

Realize Tomorrow Never Comes

What someday or somewhere comes down to, is you falsely admitting to yourself what you want isn’t available to you. This creates the belief you’re no longer in control of your life.

All you’re doing is waiting for something, sometime, or someone to take charge.

You’ll only get access to your true resources once you take action exactly where you are right now, with what you’ve got, despite all your excuses.

True gratitude and happiness doesn’t rely on external circumstances or conditions. It’s instead determined by your evaluation of where you are right now.

Right now is the seed of your life, so nurture it, water it with gratitude since you’re the creator of your destiny.

  1. Great post. Figure out what matters most to you, make a plan for getting it, break that plan into tiny steps, and take the first one. Then the next one. Then the next. And as you say, you’ll build excitement and momentum to carry you forward. That’s what I did with writing, and so far, it seems to be working.
