1. Learn How To Detach Yourself

The most common resolution in the New Year, remains to lose weight by adopting a healthy diet, to exercise more, to live a more active lifestyle. To accomplish this, what needs to be practiced is the law of detachment.

What this means, is not completely detaching yourself from overindulging in fatty foods, drinking excessively, or smoking. For instance, if you continue to remain focused on reaching a certain weight loss goal and for one reason or another, you’re not able to, what this doesn’t mean is that you failed.

What practicing the law of detachment states, is that what you’re not doing is giving up on your true ultimate intention of losing weight, nor you’re giving up on everything that you love. What you need to give up, is the attachment you have on the journey to the end result. What you need to expect are minor hiccups to overcome.

It’s thought is that anything you want in life, can be acquired through detachment, this because what detachment is based on, is the unquestionable, undeniable belief in the power of your true self and motivation.
