To be brief, Mr. Wattles outlines in “The Science of Getting Rich”, that there is a singular intelligent substance that creates thought forms to that you want, for its fulfillment to proceed. This is the first and most important step towards getting what you wish for, which may include getting rich. You simply convey an idea or message of what you want and relay this thought form to this formless substance.
To successfully communicate with this original formless substance, you become in harmony with it. Mr. Wallace Wattles explains that to establish a harmonious relationship with this “thinking substance”, is through a simple but genuine profound gratitude or saying “Thanks” to everything that comes your way, granted or not.
So what is the “Original Substance”, you ask? It is a formless substance or entity that you create once you decide you want something. The universe then automatically creates this substance to accommodate your wish. For you to acknowledge these “gifts”, you have to be ready and be open to them and pay gratitude for everything that you receive. Most people are in the habit of automatically disconnecting themselves from this source, by not recognizing the gift that has just been given to them from their original wish.
If you are in tune with and more aware and closer to the source of wealth, the more this wealth will come to you. You give simple gratitude which brings you in harmony with the creative energy of the universe, the more thankful you are, the more you will be recognized, and the more you will receive. This is a direct passage from “The Science of Getting Rich”:
“There is a law of gratitude, and it is the natural principle that action and reaction are always equal and in opposite directions. The grateful outreaching of your mind in thankful praise to supreme intelligence is a liberation or expenditure of force. It cannot fail to reach that to which it is addressed, and the reaction is an instantaneous movement toward you.”
A gratitude of thanks is you reaching out. That you are consistent and genuine in your gratitude, the formless substance will acknowledge and react by moving the things you want towards you.
Giving gratitude keeps you connected with the source, gratitude also keeps you satisfied and up to date with what you have and received, which keeps your mind focused on the things you want.
Cultivate and practice the habit of continuously being grateful for all you receive, for all the good that comes in your life. Always give thanks continuously, it’s painless and it’s free. Being grateful will bring you in harmony with the good, and the “good” will naturally gravitate towards you. So Jason, start by saying “Thanks” today.
